Dr. Katiana Garagozlo is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric pulmonologist. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell where she also served as an affiliate fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Columbia University/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She is dedicated to pulmonary care for infants and children from birth to 25 years old. She prides herself on a patient and family-centered approach to medical decision-making. Her clinical interests include children's interstitial lung disease (chILD) particularly the pulmonary complications of pediatric oncology and rheumatology. She remains involved in research in chILD, cystic fibrosis, and asthma.

Dr. Garagozlo is truly amazing. I have seen many pediatric specialists over the years for different concerns, and I have never experienced a doctor quite like her. She is thorough, personable, compassionate, and takes the time to truly listen to every concern without making you feel rushed. She does not leave a stone unturned when it comes to finding answers and solutions for her patients.Her follow-up and communication are always timely and thoughtful, which is incredibly refreshing. As a parent, I have often felt like I constantly needed to be in "advocate mode" for my children, but with Dr. Garagozlo, I genuinely feel at ease. I trust that she truly cares, is extremely knowledgeable, and will do everything she can to make the best decisions for my children's health and well-being.We are beyond grateful to have her as our children's pulmonologist.

We really like Dr. Garagozlo. She took the time to talk to me and my son. She discussed very well the plan of care for him and included me in it. She was caring, nice, and professional at all times and was it was an excellent experience overall.

We used to see the PA who has since left the practice. This was our first time meeting this doctor. She was lovely and informative, we made a plan for the future to step back on some probably now unneeded meds, and it was clear the dr was knowledgeable about my son's history and she still took time to talk with me about his situation and any concerns. I didnt feel rushed or unheard. I was worried when we lost our previous provider, but my fears have been settled and I'm very pleased to be with Dr G now, she did a great job making us feel comfortable with the transition.
