This was my first time interacting with Laura and she was excellent. She had already read my chart before entering so she knew what we were going to discuss. She was extremely prepared for the appointment and made me feel very comfortable. From her personality to the knowledge of my situation and the examination was superb. She listened to my concerns about the cost of my medication and was extremely helpful in finding a solution During the visit, Dr. Kharod stepped in to see how I was doing. This just shows the level of compassion, concern, and undeniable experience the cardiology department has at USF. I'm so fortunate to have such a great team taking care of me and that starts with a very first phone call through the doctors appointment.
