Dr. Rafael Carrion is a nationally recognized urologist and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He specializes in sexual medicine and men’s health, offering expert care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.





After completing a prestigious fellowship in Sexual Medicine and Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Carrion joined USF and quickly became a leader in the field. He now directs one of the nation’s top-ranked sexual medicine fellowship programs and is internationally known for his expertise in prosthetic surgery and men’s health conditions.





Dr. Carrion remains active in academic research and has published numerous medical articles, surgical videos, and textbook chapters. This dedication ensures his patients benefit from the latest advancements in urologic care.





Known for his approachable and caring nature, Dr. Carrion builds strong, trust-based relationships with each patient. He currently leads the Sexual Medicine Division at USF Health, providing comprehensive care for conditions like erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and penile implants.

As I said before we talked about two ways of attacking my problem. He addressed the first one the second one he kind of just left the office and I didn't get an answer as far as what I needed to do and how the process was going to go. I was told he was going to come back and I assume that's when we were talking about the second part of the procedure but he never did. One of the assistance came in and just told me that they would call me in six months and schedule me for a year from now. I feel like I was rushed out.
