We waited 9 months for this appointment because I was referred by a friend who is a Dr that used to work at Byrd. I expected to leave with more information about what to expect moving forward, what things I should be expecting or looking for with regards to my mom's future care, how to receive support as a caregiver, etc and I received none of that.

I waited so long for the appointment I think my expectations were too high. Sorry to say it seemed like they were short staffed or it was not a typical day at the Byrd Institute.

The wait time to get an appointment was the turn off for me. She wasn't real clear as to what our plan of action was. Had to keep asking her questions.

All of our encounters with this practice have been exceptional in every way, we could not be more pleased!

The doctor was very helpful and knowledgeable, she took time explaining the What was happening.

I am a slow talker, I am self conscious about it, but all staff treated me with respect and understanding, I was very at ease with everyone I came in contact with.

Dr. G is a caring, concerned provider. Takes time with you and listens.

Dr Giovinco is a wonderful physician. She is up to date with issues, comes up with a plan that will fully address all issues. She picks up many things that I may have not noticed and addresses. She customizes to me as an individual and is creative with solutions that are comprehensive AND takes into account of my wishes/views. She practices well above the head and shoulders of most doctors and I am fortunate to have her on my team
